Arriving at Raipur on the way to Bastar, on this day we will visit,

Keshkal valley: This is our last day of the Bastar tour drive to Keshkal valley to set eyes on the charming aesthetic of the location. Tatamari Valley: start with a visit to the Tatamari Point, this vantage point offers stunning views of the dense forest and the valley below. Finally, we will head to the Jagdalpur, Overnight stay at Jagdalpur.

Explore the heritage of Bastar at Sirasar square. Walk the history of dynasties in Bastar, explore Bastar palace, museums, man-made lakes with tales to tell. Visit the Anthropological Museum, to understand the rich cultural heritage of Bastar’s tribes,explore the exhibits showcasing tribal artifacts, traditional attire, musical instruments. Head to the Archaeological Museum, this museum houses a fascinating collection of artifacts dating back to ancient times, including sculptures, coins, pottery, and tools. Dive into the history of Bastar and its surrounding regions as you explore the exhibits.

Tirathgarh Waterfalls: Bastar expedition is incomplete without visiting Tirathgarh, a three tiered waterfall that will rejuvenate your senses and please your soul.

Mandarkonta Cave: Situated in Kanger Valley National Park belts. One and only cave accessible throughout the year. Adorned with the formations of stalactites and stalagmites explore the cave ecosystem at Mandarkonta Cave.

Mendri Ghumar: Mendri Ghumar has something unique to offer. This place is very well known for the sky hue show that goes on here during sunsets. In Monsoon seasonal clif type waterfalls are active here. Trekking here takes you through the dense forest and observe interesting environs. (River Trail).

Tamda Ghumar: Of the many unexplored beauties of Bastar, Tamda Ghumar marks its presence very silently. Greenness of the surrounding with beautiful rocky terrain and a plunge waterfall, what more could one ask for a visual treat.

Chitrakote lower river bank: A few steps down from top contour, hike to lower river bank of Chitrakote waterfalls to experience river Indravati closely. Overnight Stay at Chitrakote Adventure Camp.

Today early morning we will walk through the beautiful trail.

Ratenga trail: Trek through the delightful landscape to explore the hidden beauties of the trail to seasonal waterfalls. With some small streams and the appealing ambience, feed the explorer in you. Bijakasha waterfalls: Reach Bijakasha and enjoy natural showers and foot baths. After that We will start our return journey towards Raipur. Most probably we will reach around 7:00pm, so you can book your train / flight ticket.

  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the tour. Anyone found in possession of the same or consuming it will be expelled from the tour.

CANCELLATIONS

  • If cancellation done prior to 60 Days of outing 75% will be refunded .
  • If cancellation done prior to 40 Days of outing 50% will be refunded.
  • After That no refund will be provided.

  • It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind and disclose the same and your medical history to the organizers of the trip so that best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval. As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves

By Air: The nearest airport is in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, which is well-connected to major Indian cities. From Raipur, Bastar is about 300 kilometers away and can be reached by road.

By Rail: If you will not get any train for Raipur then you can check out for Jagdalpur also. The nearest major railway station is in Jagdalpur, which is connected to various cities in Chhattisgarh and neighboring states.

By Road: Bastar is accessible by road via well-maintained highways from Raipur and other nearby cities.

Before you start the trek / tour.  it is recommended that you make all the necessary phone calls as during the trek you may or may not receive network coverage, once you come back to the Base Camp, you can reconnect with your family via phone once again. You can share your trek coordinator contact detail with your family members to get the latest updates about your trek batch.

Is it safe for solo women?

  • It absolutely is. We recognize, value and embody the ideology that the world of outdoor adventure can benefit from diversity. We make it our mission to create outdoor spaces as equally accessible and safe for all genders as possible.
  •  We have women trek leader also in our team.  You might just have a woman trek leader
  • Our accommodation is separate for men and women. You will be sharing your tent / staying space with other women.
  • We ensure you e-meet your trekkers much before meeting them, in a pre-trek briefing as well as on a Whatsapp group. So you’re not meeting strangers on the trek. You already know them.
  • Our male trek leaders are also trained and sensitized to handle any situations sensitively, including your periods. You’re free to approach them for anything.

what food can I get on trek?

We provide wholesome and nutritious meals during the trek. The food is vegetarian and includes a variety of dishes such as rice, dal, vegetables, chapati, paratha, pasta, noodles, and soup. We also offer snacks such as biscuits, and salty, and dry fruits during the trek. Special dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten-free, or Jain food can also be arranged if informed in advance.

Can I get Jain food during trek / tour?

Yes, Jain food can also be arranged but you have to inform in advance.

What should I do if I get my period on trek?

In case you get your period on the trail and don’t have sanitary napkins, our trek leaders can provide them to you. If you need any other kind of assistance, you can let our trek leaders know. Irrespective of gender, our leaders are gender sensitized and equipped to assist you in any way you need them to.

What are the medical facilities provide on trek / tour?

Our team carries a first aid kit and all the basic medicines required during the trek. They are equipped to be the first responders in case of any injury or health-related issues. For higher expeditions, we also carry a HAPO Bag and oxygen cylinders to tend to any altitude-related health conditions.
