Rupin Pass was a wonderful experience. It's a moderate level trek...the first five days were only 3-4 kms easy trek to amazing homestays and campsites. The pass, at an altitude of 15250 feet, was a steep climb. The first being a mountain face with boulders and the final ascent was a steep glacier climb. Once atop....all pain and drain was forgotten as we were smitten by the beauty around. Enjoyed a slide on the way back and also experienced snowfall and rain. An unexpected but exciting end to the trek. Worth mentioning..... A special thanks to Harshaal 👏👏. Though 5 out of 6 participants cancelled the trek for some personal reasons, Harshaal made it a point to take me alone as he had committed. Had a wonderful time with Harshal and xplo india team . A wonderful caring and passionate team of young adults who took special care in looking after us and making our trek a memorable trek . The food was excellent the camp sites were well selected with the best views and there was full attention on us during the tough parts in the trek . Thanks Harshal and team . Experience with Xplo India They are very accommodative and gentle host. They allow a natural pace of things to happen, instead of rushing you around. They are the kindest when it comes to taking photos while travelling with them. Harshal, our trip lead, was always approachable and very helpful when we needed any sorting or help.
