It is renowned for its significant population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros, hosting nearly two-thirds of the world’s population of this majestic species. Spread across 430 square kilometers, Kaziranga's landscape is a blend of tall elephant grass, dense tropical forests, and meandering rivers, creating a rich habitat for a diverse array of wildlife. Wake up early, Enjoy the beautiful Jungle Safari. After breakfast we will depart for Shillong. The drive from Kaziranga to Shillong is scenic, with lush green hills, winding roads, and panoramic views of the Meghalaya plateau. As you approach Shillong, notice the shift in culture and lifestyle, with Khasi influences becoming more prominent in the architecture, attire, and food. This journey offers a blend of wildlife, cultural experiences, and stunning natural beauty, making it an enjoyable road trip for those exploring the North East of India.

Perched high in the East Khasi Hills, Laitlum Grand Canyon offers panoramic views of Meghalaya’s sprawling valleys, deep gorges, and mist-shrouded hills. The name "Laitlum" translates to "end of hills," perfectly capturing its dramatic landscape. Located near Jowai in the West Jaintia Hills, Phe-Phe Waterfalls is a stunning cascade known for its multi-tiered flow and crystal-clear waters. A hidden paradise amidst dense forests, Phe-Phe offers a tranquil retreat away from the crowds. Nestled on the banks of the crystal-clear Umngot (Dwaki) River, Shnongpdeng is a picturesque village that offers an enchanting overnight stay experience. Known for its serene waters and lush surroundings, it’s perfect for water activities like boating, kayaking, and swimming. Enjoy your breakfast near crystal clear river then we will go for boat ride and other water activities. Dawki is famous for its beautiful Umngot River, where the water is so clear that boats appear to float on air. It's a great spot for photography and boating. Post Lunch, Head towards Mawlynnong - Asia's cleanest Village. Then We will start toward Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee, is known for its dramatic landscapes, numerous waterfalls, and unique limestone caves. Reach Cherrapunjee by evening and Check in to the Hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee. This drive from Shnongpdeng to Cherrapunjee offers breathtaking landscapes and a chance to experience the natural beauty of Meghalaya, making it a memorable part of your road trip through the northeast.

Wake Up early and enjoy local breakfast then depart for Tyrna Village. Begin your day with trek to the Single Root Bridge, where you can witness the natural ingenuity of the local tribes who have shaped these living structures over centuries. Next, challenge yourself with a trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat. This trek involves a steep descent of around 3,500 steps through lush forests, crossing small streams, and enjoying the scenic beauty of the surroundings. The Double Decker Bridge, with its two tiers of interwoven roots, offers a spectacular sight and an incredible testament to nature’s harmony with human innovation. After soaking in the serene ambiance of the root bridges, continue your journey to Cherrapunjee. Enjoy the scenic drive through rolling hills, and mist-laden roads, and don’t miss the mesmerizing views of the towering cliffs and deep valleys that define this region. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Wake up and enjoy your breakfast with a view. Start your day with an exploration of the Mawsmai Caves, these limestone caves are famous for their narrow passages, stunning stalactites and stalagmites, and fascinating rock formations. Next, visit Nohkalikai Waterfall, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, plunging from a height of about 340 meters (1,115 feet). Enjoy the panoramic views of the lush green valley and the roaring cascade. Head to the serene Lyngksiar Waterfalls, a less crowded spot that allows you to enjoy the tranquility of nature. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect place for a peaceful retreat and some great photo opportunities. Conclude your day by driving back to Shillong, Enjoy a relaxing evening exploring the local markets or dining at a cozy café before resting for the night at your accommodation. After a delicious breakfast, Depart for Guwahati Airport. Begin your day with a peaceful visit to Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani, located just outside Shillong. This picturesque reservoir, surrounded by lush green hills, offers stunning views and a perfect spot for some last-minute relaxation or water activities like boating. After soaking in the beauty of Umiam Lake, embark on your journey back to Guwahati. The drive takes approximately 2-3 hours, passing through scenic routes and vibrant local life, giving you one last taste of Meghalaya's enchanting landscapes. Reach Guwahati Airport in the Evening. Book your flights/train after 3 PM.
