Welcome to Saigon (officially known as Ho Chi Minh City) – Vietnam! On arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, our local guide and driver will pick up and transfer to down town for check-in into the hotel (standard check in time is 14:00, early check in will depend to hotel availability)

14:00, we will transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Located 60km from Saigon, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. 18:00 transfer back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Saigon.

09:00 meet our guide at your hotel and take a full city tour. Start with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. Continue to Reunification Palace, which was formerly the South Vietnam President’s residence and symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until end of April 1975.

Afternoon, continue the tour to visit Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built over 130 years ago by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles. Call in Saigon Central Post Office, a fine colonial building which was designed and built in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Move on to Cho Lon or the city’s China Town where you will visit the Jade Emperor Temple (Phuoc Hai), a rare Taoist structure in Vietnam built in 1909 in
dedication to the Lord of Heaven. End of the tour is Ben Thanh Market, this bustling market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. Transfer to Indochina Queen Cruise for dinner on cruise then back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Saigon.

09:00 finish your breakfast at hotel. This morning, we take an excursion to My Tho. We will be traveling past miles of flat rice fields, along a bustling High way. On arrival at My Tho, we board a Mekong cruise boat to Thoi Son Island where we will be entertained with traditional music. We will then change to a paddle boat to cruise through the narrow canals and visit home grown industries like coconut candy and rice-wine making. We next travel by motorized boat to another Mekong island to visit a bee farm and try tea with fresh honey from the beehives and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits.

As we return to My Tho there will be a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a famous pagoda in the area that its architecture is a mix of Chinese, Cambodian, and French culture. 17:00 transfer back to Saigon. Overnight stay in Saigon.Meal: Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel then check out (standard check out time is 12pm). Transfer to the airport with driver only (no guide) to board a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to check in hotel (standard check in time is 14:00, early check in will depend to hotel availability).

14:00, Start with a visit the Linh Ung Bai But pagoda with the tallest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam. The Linh Ung Bai But is on the Son Tra peninsula also called the Monkey Mountain. It is very common to see a lot of monkeys on the trees. From this fabulous pagoda, not only enjoy the fresh air; 67 m Lady Buddha statue but also you can enjoy the fantastic panoramic views of the ocean and Da Nang. Continue take a drive south to Marble Mountain, a group of limestone and marble hills filled with caves. Moreover, we will have a chance to enjoy the skillful hands of Marble carving artists at the Marble carving village on the mountains foot with the 400 years history as well. Next to the Han Market and browse the stalls of this sprawling compound, seeing fresh produce and dried goods unique to the area. 18:00 transfer back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Danang.

09:00 finish your breakfast at hotel then transfer to Ba Na Hills, one of the most spectacular landscapes of Danang City. You will take a cable car to the summit of mountain (at 1487m of sea level). Start visiting Ba Na Hill with many different attractions: Funicular, Le Jardin D’Amour, Linh Ung pagoda, Thich Ca Buddhist statue, etc.

This afternoon you continue to join activities and games in Fantasy Park. Later walk to the summit of the mountain at the height 1487m – the highest one of Ba Na Mountain, visit Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong tower and Golden Bridge, to take beautiful photos of the mountain and Da Nang city. 16:00, taking the cable car back to foothill then transfer back to your hotel. Time at leisure. Overnight in Danang.

09:00 meet our guide at your hotel and you will transfer for your half day excursion to Cam Thanh village. Board on a local wooden basket boat to Cam Thanh water coconut village to learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community and begin cruising to Cua Dai River where there are thousands of water coconut trees which used to be the habitat of Vietnamese army during the war. Learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. Explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides.
Afternoon, transfer to Hoian Town. You take interesting walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls, enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old club-houses. Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, where you may find the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoian a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. This is also a wonderful town to shop for lanterns, soft silk, raw silk, or get your clothes tailored within a day. You have time to enjoy lantern boat in Hoi An by night (it around 15-20 minutes). 18:30 transfer back to Danang. Overnight stay in Danang.

As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. Before you start the trek / tour.  it is recommended that you make all the necessary phone calls as during the trek you may or may not receive network coverage, once you come back to the Base Camp, you can reconnect with your family via phone once again. You can share your trek coordinator contact detail with your family members to get the latest updates about your trek batch.

Is it safe for solo women?

  • It absolutely is. We recognize, value and embody the ideology that the world of outdoor adventure can benefit from diversity. We make it our mission to create outdoor spaces as equally accessible and safe for all genders as possible.
  •  We have women trek leader also in our team.  You might just have a woman trek leader
  • Our accommodation is separate for men and women. You will be sharing your tent / staying space with other women.
  • We ensure you e-meet your trekkers much before meeting them, in a pre-trek briefing as well as on a Whatsapp group. So you’re not meeting strangers on the trek. You already know them.
  • Our male trek leaders are also trained and sensitized to handle any situations sensitively, including your periods. You’re free to approach them for anything.

What do you do in case of emergency?

In addition to their qualification, our trek leaders are trained to tackle any and all kinds of sudden conditions that may present themselves on ground. During our recce stage, we study the trail in great detail and map out rescue routes before opening it up for our trekkers. We also have local support staff stationed in each area to arrange for emergency services at the place of need as quickly as possible.
