Tour Plan

Day 01: Arrival in Srinagar 5,200 ft

Upon arrival at Srinagar Sheikh Ul Alam Int'l Airport ( This must be one of the Most Scenic Flights in the World, Srinagar is popularly known as the "City of Reshi's & Sufi's" and it is also the Summer capital of state Jammu & Kashmir. You will be met by representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 02 : SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM ( 96 Kms – 2 to 3 Hrs One Way )

After a leisurely breakfast, we check out from Hotel & leave for overnight stay at "Pahalgam" called as "Valley of Shepherds". Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views. Enroute visit saffron Fields & 19th Century Awantipura Ruins. Upon arrival, check in to the pre-arranged Hotel. Rest of the is day free to enjoy and explore the Beauty of "Pahalgam". Overnight stay in Pahalam.

DAY 03 : PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR BACK

After a leisurely breakfast, we check out from Hotel & transfer to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar we check in to the pre-arranged Hotel. Later we start our Sightseeing tour by visit of Shankaracharya Temple, It is believed that it was the place where the great philosopher and saint Shankaracharya stayed when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanathan Dharma. The original ceiling was dome- shaped and the brick roof is not more than a century old. Return back to Hotel for Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 04: SRINAGAR (LOCAL SIGHTSEEING)

After a leisurely breakfast, start our Sightseeing tour by visit to Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden known as 'Garden of pleasure' built in 16^th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as 'Garden of love' built in 16^th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa & Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring). The Chashmashahi Mughal garden in Srinagar had been loved by emperors and picnickers alike. In the afternoon time for Grand 15th August ( Independence Day ) celebration along with Flag Hoisting Cermony & national Anthem at Kashmir famous Clock Tower (Ganta Ghar) .Post celebration return back to Hotel for Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 05: IN SRINAGAR (DAY EXCURSION TO GULMARG) - 55 Kms – 1 & Half Hrs. One Way

After an early breakfast, drive towards Gulmarg for a full day excursion via Srinagar Bye-Pass. Gulmarg, called as "Meadow of Flowers". Gulmarg is 52 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700 – ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers is a famous Ski Resort & the world's highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. Gulmarg's legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Originally called 'Gaurimarg' by shepherds, its present name was given in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was inspired by the sight of its grassy slopes emblazoned with wild flowers. Gulmarg Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter. One Can go for the Gondola Ride up to 1st or 2nd Phase. The Gulmarg Gondola is a tourist attraction in itself. It is one of the highest cable cars in the world, reaching 3,979 metres. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from the gondola main station in Gulmarg to a shoulder of nearby Mt. Affarwat Summit (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). There are also countless off-piste possibilities through the beautiful Khilanmarg meadows on the foot of Mount Affarwat, which offer a scenic view of Nanga Parbat. The Affarwat ridge at 3850+ metres offers an avalanche controlled ski area that offers a wide field of snow to descend 800 m in approximately 3 km of skiing, and is for advanced skiers only. Due to Gulmarg's steep terrain, the region is popular amongst advanced and extreme skiers from around the world and has been visited by a number of ski professionals and featured in a number of ski films also. Return back to Srinagar in the evening for dinner & overnight stay at Hotel

DAY 06: DEPART SRINAGAR (FLY OUT)

- Kindly note that names of hotels / House Boats mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. In the event of accommodation not becoming available at any of the above mentioned hotels we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement / reduction whatever applicable) to you.
- Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
- Rooms in hotels/House Boats are subject to availability.
- Given rates are valid for Indian nationals only.
- Due to local Pony union in Gulmarg Vehicles are allowed to pick up & drop only no sightseeing will be done by outside vehicles.
- If Guest has a overnight stay in Gulmarg Vehicles will be allowed for Pick up & drop Only & for day excursion in Gulmarg vehicle will drop the Guest at Parking.
- From Parking to Gondola Counter Distance is around 01 Km for which Guest can hire the Pony or can walk ,no vehicles will be used for such services.
- During Winters while going for a day excursion to Sonmarg in case of heavy snow vehicles will go only till gagangir from their Guest has to hire local chained vehicles on own.
- During Winters due to heavy snow fall while going to Gulmarg vehicles will go up to Tangmarg from their Guest has to hire the snow Jeep on own.
- We shall not be responsible for any local dealings with local Guides in Gulmarg, Pahalgam & Sonmarg unless & until suggested or referred by us.
- We Suggest to negotiate with all vendors at every place be it Pony Ride ,ATV Ride or any other extra services not included in package.
- Vehicle used in Package will be on disposal basis from Morning 09 :00 AM to Evening 07 :00 Pm Only.
- Please carry enough woollen clothes if you are visiting for Kashmir trip in winter.
- Last day of the trip will be considered as drop at Airport only if Guest wants to go for sightseeing they have to pay extra
- We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the cost

If cancellation done prior to 40 Days of outing 50% will be refunded

Medical Disclaimer

It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind and disclose the same and your medical history to the organizers of the trip so that best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval. As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves.

Xploindia will not bear any cost for flight cancelled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger.

It absolutely is. We recognize, value and embody the ideology that the world of outdoor adventure can benefit from diversity. We make it our mission to create outdoor spaces as equally accessible and safe for all genders as possible.
We have women trek leader also in our team. You might just have a woman trek leader
Our accommodation is separate for men and women. You will be sharing your tent / staying space with other women.
We ensure you e-meet your trekkers much before meeting them, in a pre-trek briefing as well as on a Whatsapp group. So you’re not meeting strangers on the trek. You already know them.
Our male trek leaders are also trained and sensitized to handle any situations sensitively, including your periods. You’re free to approach them for anything.

Can I get Jain food during trek / tour?

Yes, Jain food can also be arranged but you have to inform in advance.

What do you do in case of emergency?

In addition to their qualification, our trek leaders are trained to tackle any and all kinds of sudden conditions that may present themselves on ground. During our recce stage, we study the trail in great detail and map out rescue routes before opening it up for our trekkers. We also have local support staff stationed in each area to arrange for emergency services at the place of need as quickly as possible.

What are the medical facilities provide on trek / tour?

Our team carries a first aid kit and all the basic medicines required during the trek. They are equipped to be the first responders in case of any injury or health-related issues. For higher expeditions, we also carry a HAPO Bag and oxygen cylinders to tend to any altitude-related health conditions.
